Theatre

This project seeks to revitalize traditional theatre spaces, making them more accessible and appealing to visitors even when no performances are scheduled. In response to the rise of digital artistic productions and declining interest in theatre among younger generations, the design incorporates a reading area within the auditorium to encourage exploration and familiarity with the space. The theatre’s form is shaped by dimensional hierarchy, ensuring sunlight reaches the courtyard while accentuating the auditorium. With its minimalist geometry and a subdued rammed earth facade, the theatre blends harmoniously with the surrounding residential area, creating a welcoming and functional community space.
